Dr. Dr. Francis Mensah Sasraku serves as Managing Partner at AF Consulting Ltd bringing nearly three decades of distinguished, cross-sector experience spanning Financial Services, Energy and Manufacturing. He is responsible for the firm’s operations, growth strategies, advisory priorities, and ensuring consistent high-impact client centred solutions.

An institutional economist by training, Dr Sasraku operates at the intersection of law and economics, with particular specialisation in financial systems, regulatory frameworks, and sector-wide risk architecture. He is widely regarded as an expert in energy, banking, and financial services risk and regulation, advising on complex issues that sit at the core of economic stability and sector resilience. His work spans the design and implementation of regulatory and risk management frameworks across banking, insurance, pensions, and other regulated financial institutions, as well as strategic advisory engagements within the energy and transport sectors.
Over the course of his career, he has led and contributed to major initiatives that have strengthened institutional capacity and advanced professional standards across Ghana’s financial and business landscape. His commitment to capability development is evident in his long-standing involvement in professional education and examination. He currently serves as an Examiner for the Chartered Institute of Bankers (Ghana), where he is responsible for the capstone paper in Strategic Leadership in Financial Services, as well as papers in Risk Management and Sovereign Risk. In addition, he is the Chief Examiner for the Chartered Institute of Marketing (Ghana), further underscoring his breadth of expertise across both finance and commercial disciplines.
Dr. Dr. Sasraku has also played an influential role in corporate governance, having served on, and continuing to advise, boards of financial institutions in Ghana and internationally. Dr. Dr. Francis Sasraku holds a PhD from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP) University of Dundee, Scotland. He holds a DBA from the Bradford School of Management, University of Bradford, England, UK. He holds LLM(Dundee), MBA (OXIIF), Dip. M., B.A.(Hons) Economics.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) , ACMA, CGMA., ACIB(UK), ACIM(UK) do reflect his technical and global professional standing.
